My Generation will now be a “buffet”

Staff Writer

From this weekend, My Generation (hosted by WSFM's Jonesy & Amanda), will undergo some changes.

Rather than highlighting a specific year on each show, they will now look back at the music and moments of the current week from a number of years.

The Angels frontman Doc Neeson will also become the new voice of the show.

Sam Thompson, Group Content Director for MCM Media, said…

“The evolution of My Generation keeps the show fresh and relevant. Highlighting ‘this week’ allows Jonesy and Amanda to reflect the music and big events of our time in the most contemporary way.”

Jonesy added…

“Now it’s like a My Generation buffet – a wider selection of classic hits and the stories behind them from all the years we love.”
