Movement at AFTRS and a pop up station
There's movement at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS).
Head of Radio Natalie Pozdeev (left) is leaving the school to return to a role at Petersham TAFE’s media section.
She'll be replaced by Lisa Sweeney (right), who’s previously acted in the Head of Radio role.
Meanwhile, the AFTRS radio students are broadcasting on pop up station 2RS until next Friday.
Listen here.
2RS is a hub simulation covering Nowra, Wollongong, Lithgow, Bathurst, the Central Coast, Muswellbrook and surrounds.
The station’s target is 35 plus and students have been out to each market to get a local feel and make contacts with local stations.
AFTRS’ 18 radio students will graduate later this year. They will be available for internship in late October/early November.
