More gold = more Hops of Honour
Last week we told you how Nova 969's 'Fitzy & Wippa' were planning to celebrate every time Australia won gold – by having 30 people dress in kangaroo suits and hop through Sydney suburbs.
They weren't too busy…..until this week.
Cyclist Anna Meares and 100m hurdler Sally Pearson won gold so the Nova team took to the streets of Campbelltown for a 'Hop of Honour'. It also included one poor roo on crutches. Watch the video here
They then went to Castle Hill to celebrate Australia's second sailing gold medal. See the pics here
Then the 'Hop of Honour' went to Cronulla. Watch the video here
A fun, creative way to reflect the Olympics while promoting the station in the suburbs of Sydney.
