More Beats radio stations on the way?

Apple could be launching at least four more radio stations after trademarks were made for Beats 2, Beats 3, Beats 4 and Beats 5.

Beats Electronics LLC has applied for the trademarks for the four names in international classes along with logos to match the Beats 1 service which launched in June.

Consomac reported on the news, but no official details have been released by Apple.

The formats and any potential launches of further stations will remain speculation until any news is announced officially, but the music and radio industries expect more services to launch sooner rather than later.
