More ARN departures: The Zach & Dom show wraps up on KIIS

Zach & Dom are the latest ARN casualties, with their night-time show on the KIIS Network finishing up.
Confirming the news on social media, Zach & Dom said “Due to changes the network has made, the Zach & Dom show has sadly wrapped up on KIIS.”
“We’re very grateful for all the support of our show over the last few years as we’ve noticed the needle, raced a plane, raised sea monkeys, built Brisbane’s first ski slope and done so much more. Can’t wait for what comes next!”
Amazing. Sacking all your future talent because you decided a single guy who could drop dead at any moment needed 10 million dollars. Great work ARN. Hope it comes back to bite you when he either goes, or retires.
Does that mean the Kiis Brissy studios are now only used for weekday breakfast?

Can understand this decision. Sad but relevant in the landscape. Music will rate as strong as the older formats have shown.

Kyle & Jackie O (and their $200 Million+ salary) are the reason for this. Consider this a transition from a KIIS Network to a K&J Network.
Here we go again. All to pay for K&J’s $200M+ salary. Ridiculous.
Feel for Zach and Dom. ARN continues to make bad decision after bad decision and it’s all because of one singular cause. Sad to see one show’s selfishness cause hundreds and hundreds of job losses.

I deleted KIIS 1065 off my car DAB page last week. No regrets is an understatement
i’m so sad for these lads. would rather hear them instead of will and woody…
also, if it’s true that this is because the money they pay them is being given to kyle and jackie o (i listen to them too), that’s so unfair… like they don’t get paid a ridiculous amount as it is… they spend way too much money trying to bribe people to listen to them… i think they’re entertaining and don’t need to splurge so much money on their fans/listeners, but they’re so hellbent on being no. 1… their intro is so long and pretentious too…
