Monty to fill-in for Chrissie Swan

As Chrissie Swan heads off on maternity leave, Katie 'Monty' Dimond will join Jane Hall on Mix 101.1 breakfast from next week.

Monty is best known as being part of the national Nova drive show a few years back with Ryan Shelton and Wippa.

Chrissie says:

"Jamie and Jane are like family to me so I will miss them terribly during my maternity leave but I am THRILLED that they will get to play with Monty while I'm wiping bottoms, snatching naps and juggling midnight feeds!"

Monty says:

“I’m so excited to join Jane on breakfast while Chrissie is on maternity leave. As a mum of a young son, I’m used to getting up at a ridiculously early hour so I know I’ll be up and at ‘em when my alarm goes off at 4am!"

Jane Hall adds:

“I’ve really loved working with Monty over the last few weeks whilst she has filled in for Chrissie. Monty has a great energy; it will be a pleasure to wake up Melbourne with her each morning.”
