MMM do it for the Salvos

Staff Writer

Triple M has been involved with the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal for some years and yesterday, for the second time, on National Busking Day they raised plenty of cash for the Salvos.

In Sydney at the QVB and Melbourne at Federation Square Triple M put on a number of busking shows including James Reyne, Jeremy Allen from Brisbane band 'The Smart' and The Dead Leaves (pictured)

Guy Dobson SCA Director of Metropolitan Radio commented: "With the power of the Triple M national network, combined with our National Busking Day events in Sydney and Melbourne, we are proud to support the Salvos"

James Reyne said: "I’m proud to be involved in Triple M’s National Busking Day and ask you to donate generously so that the Salvo’s can continue their valuable work”.

In previous years on National Busking Day Triple M have featured Ian Moss, Mark Seymour, Diesel and Mick Thomas.
