Mix breakfast show on-air for 25 hours

The Give Me 5 For Kids appeal is seeing many radio shows do whatever it takes to raise money.

Mark & Caroline, from Mix FM on the Sunshine Coast, is another to embark on doing a show for a long period of time.

The duo have left the studio and are now broadcasting outside for 25 hours.

'25 Live' began at 8am this morning and will finish tomorrow at 9am when they hope to have raised their target of $25,000.

“We are actually hoping for some rain, as it makes people feel sorry for us and bring more donations,” said Caroline.

Mark said: “I’m just hoping we can put up with each other for 25 hours straight."

Mix FM has been involved in the Give Me 5 For Kids appeal for more than 13 years and have raised over $2m over that time.
