Merrick in new TV show

Triple M's Merrick Watts is going to star in a new panel quiz show on the ABC called 'Tractor Monkeys'.

The show will “battle their way through quick fire rounds of questions and games inspired by ABC TV’s eclectic archive vault.”

Like most of these shows, the 2 teams will have a leader. Merrick will have comedian (and ex dmg radio breakfast star) Dave O’Neil and Katie ‘Monty’ Dimond, who was previously on Nova.

“I’m genuinely excited to be hosting this show for the ABC," said Merrick. "Aunty’s film vaults are an endless source of comedy gold that I can’t wait to unlock.”

“With Merrick at the wheel, Tractor Monkeys promises a fast and chaotic ride through the bizarre, wonderful and at times disturbing trends, fads and social phenomena that have shaped us all.”

Production will begin mid November with the 8 part series screening on ABC1 next year
