Meet our RØDE prize winner in the 2024 Radio Today Podcast Awards

If there is such a thing as excitement overload, Linda Marigliano is feeling it right now.

Not only is Linda due to give birth to her first child any day now, we’ve also just informed her that she’s the winner of the

RØDE prize in the 2024 Radio Today Podcast Awards.

Linda, who has a history of working in radio and DJing, has been independently creating and hosting the Tough Love podcast series since 2021.

She works in a small team of three women, recording, scripting and editing the podcast.

Linda has been using the RØDE NTG5Microphone for all her voiceovers and interviews.

She says she’ll now have the dream audio set up she’s been longing for.

Linda has built an impressive media career, starting out on FBi Radio in 2003.

Moving to triple j, she hosted the mid-dawn shift on a casual basis during the week.

In 2007, she joined triple j on a full-time basis as weekday lunch presenter. From there, she moved to hosting the Monday to Friday evening shift, then took over Mornings, replacing Zan Rowe when she moved to Double J.

She departed triple j at the end of 2009 to move across to ABC TV.

Linda will receive the internationally acclaimed RØDECaster Pro II mixer, manufactured here in Australia, as well as a PodMic, PSA1+ Studio Arm and NTH-100 Headphones.
