Matty Acton Leaving SEA FM to join KIIS 101.1

After a couple of years in the chair, Matty Acton has pulled the pin on SEA FM Gold Coast Breakfast to move to Melbourne to join ARN.

Matty will anchor drive with Hughesy & Kate on KIIS 101.1 Melbourne and across the Network.

On his depatture from SCA Andrew Very, Southern Cross Austereo Gold Coast Content Director said:  “As 2014 draws to a close, it’s that time of year where we traditionally see a ‘changing of the guard’ with our team members pursuing a fresh start for the new year.  “Matt Acton is indeed in that boat, where he and his family have decided the timing is right to relocate from the Gold Coast to take up new opportunities interstate.”

"We’ve valued Matt’s natural talent for identifying big point of difference ideas and delivering exceptional implementation as the anchor of the Sea FM Breakfast show with Charli Robinson and Paul Gale, it’s been a blast! We wish Matt only the best for his next exciting adventure. Matt’s last day will be December 12.”

No word yet on what the go is with Paul "Galey" Gale and Charli Robinson, the remaining members of SEA FM Gold Coast Breakfast team.
