Mark Parton to leave 2CC

After seven years with 2CC and 16 years On-Air in Canberra, Mark Parton has called it quits.

General Manager for Capital Radio Michael Jones said: “Mark Parton’s time at 2CC has been marked by strong ratings performance and five Australian Commercial Radio Awards for talk and current affairs presenting”

Mark’s final show will be December 18 with him focussing on his marketing and social media company Parton Me.

2016 will see at least two new breakfast shows start in the market. 104.7 recently announced their new team of Ryan Jon and Tanya Hennessy who will start in January. 2CC haven’t announced yet who will take Mark Parton’s place on the station at this stage.
