Magic Melbourne make some changes

As well as being the Program Director of Perth's 96FM, Brad McNally also oversees the development of all music stations within the Fairfax Radio Network (Magic 1278 in Melbourne and the newly launched Magic 882 in Brisbane).

Brad tells us that Magic Melbourne now have a new Operations Manager in Dave Ferguson (below left) and a new Music Director, Darelle Kearins.

He also says they've streamlined the music position in Melbourne.

"It has gone from a very broad based and self indulgent oldies station to a station thats core is 60s and 70s oldies. I believe the station needed a complete new coat of paint, so we have rebranded the station completely. It is now – the songs you know and love."

'The songs you know and love' is also being used at Magic 882 Brisbane.

Brad says Magic Melbourne is very different to what is heard at Magic Brisbane due to their different strategic battles and the strength of 4KQ.
