Maddy Rowe brings Australian music to Nova weeknights

Quietly, while all eyes were on Survey 6, Maddy Rowe (pictured) popped into the Nova studios and expanded her Australian music show, currently from 6-7pm Sunday nights across the Nova Network, to include 10pm till midnight Monday to Thursday.

The plot thickened when I went to check what was happening with Maddy’s Sunday show. It appears to have moved to 7-8pm. Maybe I caught the station while I was rejigging things, but I realised Jase and Lauren highlights have also vanished from Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Although I will add that Nova 96.9 in Sydney has currently lost its weekends altogether, and most of its days.

Something’s definitely happening at the Nova Network, not least of which is an increased support of Australian music.
