Macca takes the reins in Tamworth

Matt ‘Macca’ MacCarthy, has taken over the 88.9/96.3fm, 9 am to 12 pm Monday-Friday infotainment program.

He replaces Johnny Mac, who retired from the program after nine years.

Macca has worked behind the mic in many parts of NSW over the last two decades and is certainly no stranger to radio.

Living by four radio rules, Macca says, “Make them laugh, make them cry, make them think and make them dance”.  

Content Director Ray McCoy says, “We are super stoked to have Macca onboard the 88.9fm/96.3fm team.”
