Lunar New Year celebrations on ABC Extra

From February 8 to 13 ABC Extra will celebrate the Lunar New Year, highlighting contemporary Asian culture in Australia.

It will include documentaries, popular Asian music and programs about Asia’s most vibrant cuisines.

Lunar New Year on ABC Extra will include a Sunday morning program hosted by ABC Canberra's Andrea Ho (pictured) and David Hua from ABC Online. The 2 hour show will also feature chef Poh Ling Yeow (Poh’s Kitchen) and a performance by singer-songwriter Sophie Koh.

The program will be broadcast nationally on ABC Local Radio.

Other programs include music shows from Caroline Tran (triple j) and Emma Ayres (ABC Classic FM).
