London 2012 around the grounds

Those that don't have the official radio rights to cover the Olympics will always find other ways to reflect the event.

Rather then bombarding you with multiple stories with different pieces of content, let's highlight a few from around the country in one story.

First stop, Perth…

Nova 937's breakfast show, 'Nathan, Nat and Shaun', held their very own Torch Relay with celebs like Justin Langer, Fat Cat, Adam Gilchrist and the WA Premier getting involved.

It ended with Shaun McManus getting his hands on the 'dolphin' torch and bringing it into the station. The torch will now shine from the Nova balcony for the duration of the Olympics (or until the batteries run out).

Finally to Sydney…

Nova 969's 'Fitzy & Wippa' are celebrating every time Australia win gold by having up to 30 people dress in kangaroo suits and run through Sydney suburbs for the ‘Hop of Honour’.
