LiSTNR commemorates 25 years since passing of Michael Hutchence

In a new podcast series written by LiSTNR Music Feature Writer Cameron Adams, listeners can hear about the private pact that bonded INXS together with unreleased information.

INXS band members Andrew Farriss, Kirk Pengilly and Jon Farriss talk openly about the impact of Hutchence’s passing and INXS’s influence in the quarter of a century since his death and if we will ever see INXS live again.

The Behind the Hits – Michael Hutchence series reveals never-before-told plans for a singer to replace Hutchence, while Kirk Pengilly reveals what Hutchence told him in a dream. INXS drummer Jon Farriss tells why he had to hire security guards after Hutchence’s death, and Andrew Farriss responds to cynicism over the band’s revolving door of singers.

The podcast also features Australian music royalty Jimmy Barnes, Jon Stevens, Suze DeMarchi, Vance Joy, Peter Garrett, and Daniel Johns who speak openly about the legacy of INXS and the impact of rock star Michael Hutchence.
