Life FM’s Maz changes gears for Drive

Life FM Adelaide’s Mary-Anne (Maz) Maio has wrapped up her first week on-air in the role of Drive Host.

It follows the departure of Life FM colleague and former Drive Host and Assistant Content Director Aiden Grant.

Maz has been working at Life FM for over five years, and is currently studying Event Management full-time, but is grateful for the opportunity to fine tune her skills in the prime shift, titled Maz for the Drive Home.

‘I love what I was able to do on The Takeover at Life FM, sharing my faith but also engaging with the community in a positive way each night,” she says.

“I’m very grateful to Life FM’s Content Director Scotty Curtis, and Chief Executive Officer David Turrell, for seeing in me what it takes to be a successful Drive Host.”

Maz for the Drive Home is a celebration of life and all things Adelaide, featuring discussions on news and current affairs, advice on health, wellbeing and finance, plus daily encouragement for Christians and non-Christians alike, all surrounded by music from the 80s to today.

Maz wants the show to be a place where everyone can relax and feel connected.

“I hope that no matter how bad my day is, I can bring some joy and love to every person who tunes in, regardless of how long they can listen.”
