Lars Peterson and Ron E Sparks prepare a new digital station

Lars Peterson and radio legend Ron E Sparks are joining forces to launch a new Sydney digital music station this month.

On Saturday, May 28 the pair will kick off Sydney’s Classic Hits.com after it has been in “test mode” over the last six months.

The station is the brainchild of Sydney radio personality Lars Peterson and is set to deliver the biggest hits by the world’s most classic artists.

Sydney’s Classic Hits.com is a net-based digital audio channel offering high sound quality with a huge playlist of music, plus the latest in news and sport to cater to a 40 + audience.

“Ron E Sparks said he is so pumped about this digital station he is already boasting about consulting his Teledex and is promising to tap a highly appropriate name to cut the virtual ribbon,” said Lars Peterson of Cloud Media Network

Sydney’s Classic Hits.com is made to be a tribute to a time when DJs like Ron E Sparks and Lars Peterson were dancing across the airwaves of stations like 2SM2Day-FM, Triple M and WSFM.

“Ron E is radio royalty and an absolute master craftsman behind the microphone…His music & artist knowledge and his observational wit is just gold, I am stoked he is kick-starting the station,” said Lars.

For advertisers, the new audio channel by Cloud Media Network is said to be about turning the radio medium on its head.

“Digital audio streaming brings audio advertising into a more flexible & relevant advertising offer in line with how audiences & consumers have embraced the digital world,” says Lars.

Listeners can access Sydney’s Classic Hits.com via digital stream on Google & Alexa smart speakers and directly from the website – www.sydneysclassichits.com

Free mobile apps will be available on the App Store & Google Play before May 28.
