Soundwave 2015 landed at the Melbourne Showground’s over the weekend and for the whole 2 days K-ROCK was live backstage.

It was a first for the station as KRock’s Stampsy and Buckle brought the two day event to Geelong and The Surf Coast.

“What a weekend!  To speak with the biggest names in music right now including Fall Out Boy and the biggest bands in rock and metal including Slipknot, Smashing Pumpkins and Incubus we definitely raised the bar in what we can do as a station and as a team.  This will go down in a top 3 moments in radio for me.”, said Stampsy who’s also KRock’s MD.

They got themselves backstage access, a stack of interviews with some of the worlds biggest rock bands and pics to prove it.
