One of the first executives hired by Paul Thompson when he built DMG, Kingsley Hall (right), has resigned from his role as Chief Operating Officer to move his family back home to Adelaide.

In the internal announcement to staff Hall said; “I have really enjoyed serving as a Director of DMGRA for thirteen years and I am immensely proud of the Company that we, as a team, have built over this time"

“I would like to pay tribute to our exceptional team of General Managers who, in addition to being extremely talented individuals, have frankly made my job very easy.  Our company is in very good hands."

CEO Cathy O'Connor said of Hall's departure;

“With what is now the combined strengths of our GM and Group Executive teams, I have decided not to replace the role of COO and I believe that Kingsley’s departure provides a chance to give further  opportunity  to some of our senior executives.

“To that end, I am delighted to announce that Louise Higgins will take on an expanded role of CFO/Group General Manager, with the GM group and legal reporting through to her on their operational responsibilities.  Lou will also maintain the CFO role.

“I am also delighted to announce that Sean Ryan will take on the board seat vacated by Kingsley at Commercial Radio Australia (CRA).  Sean will work with me as dmg’s representative on the Board.”

Kingsley Hall has been with dmg radio for 13 years.
