Kinderling unveils pioneering early learning program

SCA-backed Kinderling Kids Radio has entered groundbreaking territory with the launch of new educational learning program Play & Learn.

Produced in partnership with G8 Education, the initiative is specifically dedicated to auditory learning activities for a 10-week trial period in 24 centres across Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales.

With the introduction of Play & Learn to all G8 early education centres across Australia, Kinderling stands to double its average weekly listenership of 200,000.

“Kinderling is a wonderful example of how more diversity and choice can be offered using DAB+ broadcast technology and a leader in innovation within Australia’s digital radio space,” said CRA chief Joan Warner.

According to Kinderling, Play & Learn uses sound and music to foster creativity, improve wellbeing, enhance communication skills and build meaningful connections.

Evan Kaldor, managing director for Kinderling Kids Radio, is adamant the program will enhance current learning models for young children.

“We’re extremely excited to be partnering with Australian educators on an audio program that combines the fun of dancing and musical expression with the wonder of exploring the world through sound.”

Play & Learn episodes can be heard each weekday at 10am on DAB+.
