KIIS returns to the top in Sydney 

KIIS 106.5 has taken Sydney’s top spot in today’s Survey 3 results. 

The station jumped +1.5 to find 13.0 in the 10+ demographic, while 2GB trailed close behind with 12.2 (+0.4). 

2GB was slightly ahead of KIIS in the 10+ last survey, sitting 0.3 in front before the latest results were released. 

In the Survey 3 Sydney Breakfast slot, KIIS duo Kyle and Jackie O have surged ahead with a +2.8 spike, landing their show in the number one spot at 17.9. 

The closest competitor in Breakfast, 2GB’s Ben Fordham Live, now sits at 15.0 (+0.3). 

ARN Chief Content Officer Duncan Campbell praised KIIS on the Survey 3 results. 

“What a great accomplishment for ARN as KIIS 1065 claims the top spot overall in Sydney, surpassing 2GB for the second time this year,” Cambell said. 

“The station has been propelled by strong performances across the entire day, starting with the Kyle & Jackie O Show’s unprecedented cume during Breakfast and extending to the remarkable numbers achieved by Will & Woody in Drive” 

The Kyle and Jackie O Show showed the highest jump in cume of any Sydney breakfast show, reporting a +67 increase to finish substantially higher than the next closest station with 921,000 listeners.
