SCA has today announced the appointment of Kieran Simpson as the Content Manager for the Carrie & Tommy Drive show.

In his CD role, Simpson will lead the creative and editorial direction of the Hit Network’s national Drive program.

He will set the overarching content strategy and guide its execution, working closely with Carrie & Tommy and the wider team to shape the show’s sound and direction.

SCA says Simpson will focus on growing the show’s reach and impact through a cohesive, multi-platform approach across radio, digital and social.

Central to his remit is building a high-performing production team and driving big-picture creative decisions that deliver strong audience connection and long-term impact.

Simpson is an award-winning producer with more than 13 years’ experience across broadcast, audio and digital platforms in the UK and Australia. His career spans both broadcast and emerging digital platforms with senior roles Head of Digital at The Project as well as leadership positions in Breakfast radio across all three major broadcast and audio networks.

Simpson will report directly to Amanda Lee, Head of Hit Metro Content, who says “Carrie and Tommy are two of the most talented broadcasters in the country, with an incredible ability to connect with audiences. Bringing on Kieran as Content Manager is a strategic step in supporting the continued evolution of the show. His creative leadership, extensive audio expertise and digital-first mindset make him the perfect person to help shape the next chapter of Hit’s popular Drive show, working closely with Carrie and Tommy to build on what already makes the show so successful. Having worked with Carrie and Tommy previously, Kieran has a strong rapport with the team. We’re excited about the energy and ideas he’ll bring to the show and the wider Hit Network.”

Simpson will commence his new role on March 2.
