Following the resignation of long-time Program Director Peter Davidson, Capital Radio Network has announced the appointment of Joshua Haizer to the role of Group Program Director, overseeing programming operations across the network’s five markets, Canberra, Perth, Goulburn, Snowy Mountains and Gippsland.

Chief Operating Officer of Capital Radio Network Michael Jones says Davidson leaves a huge pair of shoes to be filled.

“His experience and knowledge a challenge to replace. We are fortunate to have Joshua Haizer returning to the network to take on this crucial role.”

The Capital Radio Network operates Forever Classic formats 2CA, 6iX, GNFM, XLFM and 3GG along with Eagle FM, Snow FM, Talking Canberra 2CC and a range of DAB+ and narrowcast stations.

“Joshua has a deep understanding of Capital Radio’s brands and formats having worked with us in production and operations for a number of years in Canberra and is the perfect person to lead our programming into the future,” says Jones.

Davidson, who has been with Capital Radio Network for 18 years, will finish on 22 August 2024, with Haizer officially taking over from 16 September.
