Jonesy’s past rejection

Brendan 'Jonesy' Jones has been at WSFM for 10 years, but a decade before that he was searching for a radio gig across Australia.

This led to many airchecks being sent and many rejection letters being sent back.

Jonesy has released a number of these letters.

See 5 below from some major radio names :-

Jeff Allis – from 1993 when he was about to move from being PD at Sea FM Gold Coast to APD at Fox FM
Rob Logan – from 1995 when he was PD of B105
Cherie Romaro – from 1993 when she was PD at 2UW, after her 2Day FM days
Duncan Campbell – he might be his boss now but 20 years ago he sent Jonesy two rejection letters, from PMFM in 1993 and Triple M in 1994

Lastly, a letter from Peter Kaye confirming his employment at i98fm including how much he would get paid as arvo jock doing a 6 day week.
