Jonesy & Amanda chat to Avatar stars

WSFM 101.7’s Jonesy & Amanda chatted with Sam Worthington and Cliff Curtis this week, ahead of their upcoming film Avatar: The Way Of Water.

Following the success of the first Avatar film, Sam said “I don’t think we were cocky, thinking this Avatar would be as well received as it was.”

“Going into the second one you just have to make a genuine and authentic story and try to advance where these characters go.”

Amanda revealed she felt weepy when watching a 30 minute segment of the new film.

Jonesy also reflected on taking his son Dom to watch the first movie. Dom – who was eight at the time – felt so emotional after the movie he said “I just can’t talk.”

Sam and Cliff revealed there is a part 3,4 & 5 sequel of the movies.

Filming of number 3 has already been completed.
