KIIS 101.1‘s Jase and PJ have walked a huge inflatable piggy bank 43 kilometres across Melbourne to raise money for listener Tessa Raskas‘ cancer treatment.

The pair and their pig trekked from Tullamarine to Heathmont Jets Football Club, managing to raise $80,000 in donations for Tessa and her family along the way.

Tessa was diagnosed with colon cancer earlier in the year, Tessa’s father is also facing a cancer battle leaving her mum as their sole carer.

“I just want to say to the KIIS family, you guys are just incredible, you have become a part of our family,” gushed Tessa upon the reveal of the fundraising effort.

“We’ll never be able to thank you enough for all you’ve done.”

Donations can still be pledged here, see below for the full journey.
