Jade Robran to leave FIVEaa

Jade Robran has announced that this week will be her last hosting Adelaide’s FIVEaa Afternoons.

She said on air that she is stepping away to do what’s best for her family and how much she has enjoyed the role:

“I just wanted to say how much of a privilege it has been to share your afternoons with you and bring you all the news and events around our beautiful city. What I’ve really loved the most is the great laughs that we have had and the fact that you ring in and you share your personal stories with me and you trust me with that, and that is not lost on me. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for an incredible two years everybody. FIVEaa has been an amazing place to work and I’ve got some great mates here.”

Station Manager Craig Munn said:

“Jade has been an exceptional member of our FIVEaa team for the past two years, providing our audiences an excellent Afternoons program that has always kept listeners up to date and abreast of topics and issues relevant to Adelaide and South Australia.

“While we’re sad to see her leave afternoons, we’re extremely supportive of her decision to step back. We’re currently working with Jade on plans to keep her involved with the station in 2024, which we will announce as soon as possible.”

Weekend presenter Angie McBride will host afternoons for the rest of this year.
