Jackie O – ‘Kyle was really sorry’

In a coup for the Southern Cross Austereo PR team, the Sydney Morning Herald has today run a significant profile piece on 2Day FM's Jackie O.

In the wide-ranging article she disects the 'Kyle & Jackie O' breakfast program in detail, and breaks her silence on the Kyle 'fat slag' comments directed at a journalist last year saying:

"My silence wasn't supporting what he said in any way. It just didn't feel right at the time to also come out and bash Kyle because I knew it really affected him"

"And he really was sorry for what he said. So I was between a rock and a hard place, put it that way. But no, I didn't condone what he said at all"
