It’s Not Over Yet…

$402,307.30 has been raised so far and it’s not over yet. The final push is on for the mix94.5 Kids Appeal with Telethon.  

With two weeks of fundraising a cheque was handed over to Princess Margaret Hospital by mix94.5’s Clairsy, Shane & Kymba this morning.

Technical Resources donated $50k towards the appeal and Brownlow medalist Eagles player Matt Priddis & Docker Hayden Ballantyne swapped jumpers ahead of the derby this weekend.

Events were thrown to raise money too including mix94.5’s Bring Back the Good Times where a local night club was transformed as the 80’s icon Pinnochio’s for the night.

The Dead Set Legends’ Sports Star Lunch raised over $22,000.  The event was hosted by Adrian Barich & Angela Tsun and held at Mosmans Restaurant with an elite group of sports stars filling the room for an intimate Q&A panel with guests and 3-course sit down lunch. And former Bachelor Blake Garvey even popped in to host the auction.

On Monday they will announce the final total.
