Iron Imager Final: Brad Leask to battle it out with Sideshow Mike

Nova Entertainment’s network imaging producer Brad Leask will compete in the final round of Benztown’s prestigious Iron Imager contest held in Los Angeles.

Leask will go head-to-head with fellow countryman and Iron Imager 2016 titleholder, Sideshow Mike Andersen in a live face-off on May 4.

Anderson is imaging director at Triple M Sydney, and also works as a voice-over artist and actor with RMK Management – ‎Channel 7.

Speaking of the contest, Leask had nothing but kind words for his Nova colleague Matt Dower, who carries out imaging duties alongside Leask for Nova’s large scale events.

“I’m fortunate enough to work with one of the best imagers in the world in Matt Dower and to craft the imaging for the calibre of events that Nova puts on, but this opportunity is next level exciting, I can’t wait!”

Dower was equally as enthusiastic about his 23-year-old coworker: “The thought of Brad battling my mate and adversary Michael Sideshow Andersen on the world stage fills me with enormous pride, and these two will no doubt bestow a great honour upon the Aussie industry,” he said.

Leask was originally selected to participate in the final round of Iron Imager, after responding to Benztown’s worldwide call out to write and produce a station branding promo in a format of his choice, using only the ingredients from that chosen format’s imaging library.
