“I’m doing OK.” Lehmo’s emergency overseas hospital visit

It certainly wasn’t on the original travel itinerary.

Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann is resting up after an unscheduled visit to the emergency ward during a trip to Italy.

After two days of severe stomach pain, the former Triple M, Gold 104.3 and ABC Radio host was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and underwent surgery in a Milan hospital.

Whilst he might not be doing much sightseeing for a while, in an Instagram post, Lehmo says he’s now feeling a little sore, but generally good.

 “I have received extraordinary care here in Milan. Despite the language barrier, every single health care professional I’ve dealt with has had a smile on their face, filled me with confidence and done an incredible job.”
