i98FM’s Camp Quality Convoy grows

On Sunday, i98FM in The Illawarra held their 9th annual Camp Quality Convoy.

Last year they raised $1,009,735, the year before $691,710 and this year……$1,191,816 (and 22c) for kids and their families dealing with cancer in the region.

i98FM breakfast hosts Marty & Bianca, along with 780 trucks and 872 motorbikes, travelled 70 kms.

Many trucking companies fought it out on their breakfast show to see who would donate the most money. That company would then be the lead truck in the convoy. The station also did the same to be the lead motorbike for the first time.

A massive effort and great local initiative from i98FM.

A half hour doco about the Convoy will air on the WIN Network at 4pm on Saturday, November 30.
