Hughesy leaves for laughs

Dave Hughes is performing at the annual 'Just For Laughs' Comedy Festival in Montreal from the 23rd of July.

Whilst it is obviously unhelpful to have half of your Breakast Team away bang in the middle of survey, the trip was leveraged into a station promo with a listener having the opportunity to travel to Montreal and see Hughesy live.

Whilst he is in Canada, a series of a daily special guests will share the Breakfast Show with Kate Langbroek;

Hosting for a day each will be Collingwood star, and Nova 100 football expert Dale Thomas, former Nova 100 on-air talent and current 'The Project' co-host Carrie Bickmore and Will Anderson.

In a throwback to the early days of Nova 100, former Breakfast Announcer Dave O'Neil will return to co-host a show as well, and the drive team of Meshell Laurie, Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold will each do a day.

Hughesy will do one show from Montreal, and will be back on the air from Wednesday the 1st of August.
