Hughesy back on air one day after major surgery

This morning on 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin, Hughesy returned to work just one day after major surgery on his rotator cuff.

The operation became necessary when a simple surfing injury turned serious.

Hughesy said his surgeon suggested he stay in hospital for another day, but he chose to come to work.

He said there was a slight issue when “blood started gushing out of my arm. It was everywhere” after he attempted to take his paper undies off.
