Hughesy and Kate lend a hand

With the Nepal Earthquake making world headlines, KIIS Network’s Hughesy and Kate chatted to Amelia Hillary; the grand-daughter of Sir Edmund Hillary.

She was heading off to Nepal with a heap of donated supplies, way beyond the check-in amount. With the help of Hughesy and Kate, they put the call out to Etihad Airlines to bump up her excess allowance.

It worked with Amelia boarding last night bound for Kathmandu with 400kgs of medical supplies, blankets and water filtration systems.
