Nova 106.9 Brisbane is excited to announce its partnership with the Brisbane Heat ahead of a huge summer of Big Bash cricket action, both on the pitch and in the studio.

Nova 106.9 breakfast show Ash, Luttsy and Susie O’Neill launched the partnership, with an exclusive interview with Aussie Test star Marnus Labuschagne, who revealed he’s signing with Brisbane Heat for this summer’s KFC Big Bash League.

Nova will air interviews with favourite players and run promotions for listeners to win tickets, membership and more, throughout the summer of cricket in Brisbane.

Nova 106.9’s Market Lead Michael Graham says the partnership with the Brisbane Heat is a great win for the station, after a great year of successful sporting partnerships across all sports including rugby league with the Broncos and QRL, racing with the Brisbane Racing Club, and basketball with the Bullets.

“The whole station, both on air and off air, is really excited about teaming up with the Brisbane Heat. Cricket is of particular interest to all of our announcers, so it will make for some great content over summer. And the foyer and walkway of the Nova studios could transform into a great makeshift cricket pitch!”
