How Triple M reflected a big local event

During the AFL season one of the big local footy events in Adelaide is Showdown. This is when the 2 local teams, The Crows and The Power, play each other.

It always leads to lots of content opportunities for the stations in the market – phone topics, interviews, songs, music features and stunts.

Triple M Adelaide are in a position where they have two ex-players on their lineup that are considered legends.

Warren 'Tredders' Tredrea (Power) is part of the Hot Breakfast, while Mark 'Roo' Ruccuito (Crows) is one half of the Rush Hour, their drive sports show.

They both took to a 10 metre diving board and whoever performed the best dive would have bragging rights before the clash this weekend.

Triple M Adelaide's Content Director, Corey Kay, says:

"Nothing elegant here, but plenty of courage. Boys are already talking up Round 2."
