How much trust is there in the media ?
Some interesting stats have been published on the Essential Vision website (here). They conduct regular surveys on various issues, one question recently asked respondents how much trust they had in what they read or hear in the media.
For radio, their responses say the most trusted was ABC radio news and current affairs (70%). Whereas the least trusted was commercial radio talkback programs (32%).
A word of caution; the research is not broken down by demographic or gender, so the results are nothing more than a vaguely interesting topline overview. See the data below.
