Hot Tomato hots up nights

Gold Coast station Hot Tomato has a new host for its night show 'The RequestFest'.

David 'Christo' Christopher will start on nights in April after having spent time at 96.1 in Western Sydney, and a short-lived stint at the Nova Network.

For Christopher, it will be a homecoming, having grown up on the Coast. He said "The Gold Coast is where I was brought up. I love it and know it well and will bring a wealth of local knowledge to my new challenge at Hot Tomato"

Program Director David Rymer commented "Christo is a great operator with an exceptional passion for his craft. We are looking forward to big things from him”

The Gold Coast market is currently in survey with results due on Friday 27 April.
