Hope 103.2 give away a car

In the community sector, two of the more active stations are Light FM Melbourne and Hope 103.2 Sydney, both of whom have been giving away cars recently. Hope being the most recent to do so.

During May, Hope 103.2 were giving Sydney listeners the chance to win a Hyundai i30, with 60 listeners invited to the VIP Car Party at Castle Hill at the weekend.

The 60 attendees were narrowed down to 15 finalists, each of whom was given a key, only one which opened the car door.

It's always fantastic for the post-promo's when the winner has a great story, and they certainly did.

A single mum of 4, grandmother of 2, with a car on it's last legs, Hope listener 'Michelle' had just finished night shift at 7am as a respite care nurse.

Michelle commented;

“I’m still pinching myself. My car didn’t start when leaving work at 11pm, and while I waited for someone to pick me up I just sat there and prayed, ‘I really, really need a new car’. So it just goes to show the power of prayer! Thank you so much, it will just make so much of a difference in my life.”
