Hit WA’s Allan & Carly launch ‘Morning Sauce,’ made in Albany

After taking ingredient suggestions from listeners across the state, Hit WA’s Allan & Carly have finally launched their ‘Morning Sauce’ in Albany.

The sauce, which took a month to produce, was developed in conjunction with Che Cooper from Gods of Sauces, a local sauce company based in Albany.

Known as one of the ‘Chilli Mates’ on Channel 7’s MKR in 2022, Cooper worked with the Brekky duo to create a barbecue sauce infused with caramelised onions.

Cooper says “The caramelised onion wasn’t my idea! That came from the listeners!”

“We wanted a bit of chilli spice, but we also wanted a big range of spices. Balancing them was a bit of a trick, but I think we pulled it off!”

“We wanted some smokes, we included some natural maple smoke, then finished it off with a little bit of sweetness and tomatoes – you will also get some roasted garlic as well!”

Allan & Carly are giving away free bottles of their Gods of Sauces ‘Morning Sauce’ this week.
