See some great pics of Hinch on the 3AW website here. In classic Hinch style, he didn't disappoint on-air this afternoon saying;

"You can't legislate against stupidity (3AW management) will find out the wisdom of their decision when the ratings come out next year. I was the rebel with too many causes", Hinch said on-air this afternoon.

He went on to say that management were tired of his 'causes' saying that one 3AW executive told him, "I hope you don't go on about the paedophile thing".

Hinch also told his listeners that he believed 3AW would be sold by Fairfax Media, his current bosses would be fired, and that he would then be back on the air.

Hinch does already have his next role, he was hired by Seven in September as their national public affairs commentator providing for appearances on Sunday Night, Sunrise and Seven News.

The program featured a number of high profile well-wishers calling into wish Hinch well, including Tony Abbot, and Hamish & Andy.

The Age was in the studio tonight and was present as Hinch left the studio. Speaking to 3AW staff following the show, Hinch told them;

"I've had arguments with management, but I've never had an argument with you … I knew I'd get emotional with you lot."
