Havoc returns to NZ radio

Staff Writer

Last month we told you that RadioLive presenter Martin Devlin was moving to do breakfast at Hauraki (see here)

As TRN continue to rebuild the station, they have announced another appointment. NZ radio identity, Mikey Havoc, is making a comeback to radio after leaving student station bFM in 2010 after 16 years.

'Havoc Nights' will start Monday.

Radio Hauraki's CD, Mike McClung, said…

"We think Mikey is a perfect fit for Hauraki, he will bring something special to night-time radio. He’s a quality broadcaster and his musical nous is unparalleled. This is another important appointment as we rebuild Radio Hauraki to compete strongly for the male rock audience.”

Of his new gig, Havoc said…

“This is a tremendous opportunity to get busy on an iconic radio station. I’m looking forward to being an enthusiastic participant in Hauraki’s future."

His co-host will be Angelina Boyd, who is on Juice TV's 'NZOwn'.
