RedBalloon founder Naomi Simson launches podcast via Podshape

Naomi Simson, the founder of online experience marketplace RedBalloon, has launched a business podcast titled Handpicked with Naomi Simson.

The podcast, via Podshape, will feature guests handpicked by Simson and will offer advice around starting, saving or growing a business.

It will come out weekly from Monday with a bonus episode on Wednesdays, Handpicked Extra, which will serve as a glossary and toolkit to review some of the key terms and insights unlocked each week.

Simson, who has also appeared as a judge and investor on Channel 10’s Shark Tank, said she’s looking forward to the experience.

“My three decades as a business owner has been full of twists and turns,” she said. “Sharing what is relevant, useful, and perhaps inspiring in each episode will support other business owners.

“I have been blogging, writing and speaking for years – this format gives me the opportunity to reach new audiences and deliver bite-sized gems to help other businesses thrive.”

The podcast is produced by Jay Walkerden’s Podshape in association with Simson and the Harry M Miller Group’s Lauren Miller.

“Naomi Simson is so admired in the business community for her straight-talking and her ability to not only see a great idea, but to help grow that idea,” Walkerden said. “When the opportunity [came up to] partner in this project with her, it was an absolute no brainer.”
