Good Sports: RSN launches new Sunday morning show

Reporter

As part of its dedication to racing and sport, RSN has announced the introduction of a new show – Good Sports – which will air every Sunday morning between 10am until midday.

Commencing May 7, Good Sports will bring listeners up to date with the latest news and scores from the world of sport.

Good Sports will be hosted by Brendan Delaney, who is well-known to RSN listeners.

He’ll be joined by passionate sports fans Michael Velissaris and Michael Comerford.

Velissaris, who has been with the station for more than five years, is a Carlton tragic and loves the NBA.

Comerford – who joined RSN last year – has a great deal of knowledge across a number of sports, including the world game and UFC.

RSN Racing And Sport Program Director Andrew Bensley says it’s an exciting time for the station:

“Sunday mornings are a great time to discuss an array of local and international sport. With the Ashes just around the corner, the NBA season getting towards the business end, and the AFL season in full swing, there is no shortage of sport to talk about.”

“Good Sports gives us the chance to introduce our listeners to a young team of broadcasters that just love to talk sport and racing. Known as ‘The Apprentice’ on Breakfast with Harf, Michael Comerford is right into UFC, Michael Velissaris the NBA, and we’ll have Brendan Delaney guiding the team through the two hours.

“From netball to football, UFC to darts, Good Sports will have it all covered.”
