Good Charlotte & Fox FM make up

Since 2009 Fox FM's Matt and Jo show have been unsuccessful in each of their attempts to speak with Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.

The perceived 'blackban' was the result of a live interview at Fox, when the boys were shown a picture of Britney Spears getting out of a car with no pants on as part of a 'first reaction' game. 

The Madden brothers were unimpressed and walked out of the studio live on-air.

However, the air has now been cleared, with Benji Madden talking with Matt and Jo on Fox about the incident just prior to joining his brother Joel on 'The Voice' as a mentor.

Benji Madden commented: "I understand what you guys were doing and the entertainment aspect of it and I understand that you weren't being malicious towards Britney Spears….we've never really wanted to be the two guys joining in on the mob, kind of laughing at another person"
