Geelong station help this winter

Last night, while the annual CEO sleepout was on, K-Rock in Geelong did their part to help this winter.

Their Blanket Geelong event was started by their breakfast show, The B-Team, last year and saw them collect 860 blankets for charity, getting over 4 times what they expected.

In year 2, Chicken, Leroy and Marisa managed to collect 1500 blankets, covering 4,500m2 of The Pier in Geelong.

K-Rock PD Leigh Kuhlmann says:

"We have been overwhelmed by the support and next year are aiming for Simmonds Stadium."
